Cora Hartshorn Arboretum’s Teddy Bear Parade

The Cora Hartshorn Arboretum’s annual Teddy Bear Parade was held on Sept. 9. Paradeparticipants were treated to stories and educational information throughout the day in the Arboretum’s historic Stone House and recently renovated Stone House Nature Center. Participants learned about bears in the wild and how to protect them. The ‘doctor’ was also on site to verify and certify the health of various stuffed animals and Teddy Bears alike. In spite of sprinkles from the sky, a special educational nature hike through the Arboretum’s beautiful woodlands was enjoyed by parade attendees.
