A light rain did not dampen a celebration of the Year of the Dog at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary in Short Hills earlier this month.

During the Lunar New Year celebration held on Saturday, Feb. 10, guests were treated to a lion dance, snacks, teas, crafts, storytelling and calligraphy.

Celebrants viewed the arboretum’s resident animals and enjoyed the interactive learning stations in the Arboretum’s Stone House Nature Center exhibit.
