SHORT HILLS, NJ– On Sunday, September 22, Cora Hartshorn Arboretum & Bird Sanctuary hosted its second annual Cornhole ThrowDown fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds are donated to forest restoration. The friendly fundraising competition, which took place at the Boxcar Bar & Grill, provided hours of family fun and supported environmental stewardship.
Mayor Annette Romano shared that 30 teams registered for the Cornhole ThrowDown and about 100-125 people attended. “It was a wonderful event and raised a lot of money for a great cause. I was happy to be there to support the event,” stated Romano. She continued, “It was great to see so many families participating in the event. Millburn Township is very community oriented, and it was wonderful to see everyone out to support one of the gems of our community.”
